1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Pane ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.
2. Description of Service
Pane is a macOS application that provides window management, application launching, and productivity features. The Application may include both free and premium (paid) features.
3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
If you purchase a Pro license, you are granted additional rights to use premium features as described at the time of purchase. Pro licenses are subject to the following terms:
- Licenses are granted per-user and may be used on multiple devices owned by the licensee
- Licenses may not be shared, resold, or transferred without our written consent
- We reserve the right to limit the number of simultaneous device activations
4. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Application
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent any license restrictions or security measures
- Share your license key or account credentials with others
5. Third-Party Services
The Application may integrate with third-party services (such as Google Calendar, YouTube, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services.

7. Payments and Refunds
If you purchase a Pro license:
- Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider
- All fees are stated in USD unless otherwise specified
- We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for Pro licenses
- Refund requests should be sent to our support email
8. Updates and Changes
We may update the Application from time to time. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Application shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pane and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Application or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
Upon termination, your right to use the Application will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
